Rock Chaabi & free jazz concert.

Created in 1995 by mandolute player Hakim Hamadouche, drummer Ahmad Compaoré and saxophonist Edmond Hosdikian, the trio ORIENTAL FUSION was born of the will to gather energetic and spontaneous individualities around their oriental roots: Algeria, Egypt and Armenia.
Three traditions, three exiles, three sensibilities which hold a musical dialogue led by Hakim's Arab-Andalusian singing to conceive a striking music between free jazz, punk rock and Chaabi (Algerian blues) with great detours in improvisation. The coming together of these three cultures - at the crossroads of jazz, contemporary and ethnic music - led to an eponymous album with artist featuring by Tom Cora and Barre Phillips, released in 2000 on the Transes Européennes label.

Jazz world concert, Valentine's Day special.

NAFAS means « breath » in literary Arabic. Vital breath, it is the force that nurtures, inspires and creates. Ahmad Compaoré, Fred Pichot and Sylvain Terminiello have imagined an eclectic and mixed music transcending cultures and social belonging. Between free jazz, fusion and world music, their repertoire travels along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea mixing oriental, afrobeat or klezmer influences, sustained by improvisation and spiced up with a touch of electro.

Jazz & Greek music concert.

Born in Athens, Kalliroi studied music at the National Conservatoire and the Ionic University, as well as theatre at the Dramatic School of Athens. She is a singer and pianist, and at the same time she carries out musical creations for the theatre. Settled in France since 2010, she gives fado, Greek music, French chanson, jazz and popular music performances. She collaborates with the companies and artists AnouSkan, FadoRebetiko Project, Oxxaman, Nomadam, La Nef des Fous. She participated in the Festival de la Chanson Française du Pays d'Aix in 2012 and 2014.

Nourished with all the popular discourses that the instrument has produced, Laurent, Aurélien and Ahmad have initiated a personal and innovative approach to music, searching for new territories of expression. Their music gets off the beaten track, with the strong desire not to stay confined into a specific genre or in a codified language. On a razor's edge, they impose the originality of their style, remarkable blend of a more informal rock culture, free and singular.
